To order the test, please contact your doctor.
Pay by debit/credit or prepaid card upon completion of your online registration at myEMR. Alternatively, you can make a deposit to one of the following bank accounts.
When making the deposit it is necessary to mention your Name and Serial number.

Collect sample
The sampling procedure is carried out by a doctor or qualified personnel. Prior to taking the saliva sample and for at least 30 minutes, the patient should NOT:
Eat food
Chew gum
Drink any liquid
Brush your teeth
Do mouth washes
Smoke or vape
Wear lipstick

Free sampling
For the free sampling procedure, please contact your doctor or one of the Affidea diagnostic centers.

To receive a free buccal swab (saliva sample) you should follow the procedure below:
• Make an appointment at the Affidea diagnostic center of your choice
• When you arrive at the center, bring the kit with the swab
• After sample collection, leave the kit with the swab at the center's secretary.
At-home sampling with charge
If you wish to have the sampling carried out at your premises, we offer the home service (saliva sample) with €20 charge.
For home sampling you should follow the procedure below:
Affidea (service available for Attica, Thessaloniki, Kozani, Kavala, Heraklion, Chania, Sparta and Kalamata)
• Enter here to book your appointment online by filling out the available form. Alternatively, you will find the information to book your appointment by phone or email.
• During the scheduled sample collection at your premises, make sure you have the kit with you.
• Upon completion of the collection, hand the DNA kit to the representative at your site.

How to complete your registration
Visit myEMR (myemr.idna.gr) and create your professional profile with your own passwords by selecting the Sign up button.
Serial Registration
Select Register new kit / Resume registration and register the kit provided to your patient. Enter the Serial Number which is in the format CH123456, with the first two digits consisting of letters and the remaining six of numbers.
Language selection
Select the language that determines both registration and the language of the results.
Patient Data
Enter the personal details of the person who provided the buccal sample (name, address, contact details).
Terms and consents
Complete the Statement of Consent and learn about our Privacy Policy.
Buccal swab sample
Enter the date on which the swab sample was collected.
Questionnaire
Fill in the Cardio Health questionnaire online.To complete it you need recent blood pressure, cholesterol and blood glucose measurements of the patient.
Check & finalize registration
Review the data you recorded to ensure it is correctly reflected in your patient's report.
It is necessary to complete the above Kit registration process and questionnaire before sending the sample
Inform your patient that the amount of 250€ must be deposited in one of the following bank accounts of iDNA Laboratories for the iDNA Cardio Health Kit.

Results
Within 20 business days from the day the saliva sample is received from our laboratory, your patient’s report results will be available in your medical file at myEMR.
A notification will be sent to your registered email.
Results
Within 20 business days from the receipt of the saliva sample from our laboratory, your personalized report results will be available in your file at myEMR.
A notification will be sent to the e-mail you provided when creating your profile. An e-mail notification will be sent to the healthcare professional, should you have requested to have access to your results and it has been accepted.
